Once again, its autumn. The leaves are turning yellow, the sky is turning grey and my life gets even more hectic than before. At the same time, its often the time of year when I find I am returning to these old hide-outs, such as livejournal. I have not been on for several months, I've been extremely busy, and this is most of all an icon journal. I have finally gotten my computer back and is looking forward to get back to business when it comes to Photoshop. If anyone out there is reading, I am back, I cannot say forever or very frequently, but I am back.
And, not long until the election now. My fingers are crossed for Obama! :D

I know I haven't posted anything in ages, I've been extremly busy with school and all.
I am very sad about VM being cancelled, and I'm currently making a few icons, I want to make from the season finale but no one seems to have gotten their caps up yet.
Veronica Mars was such a great show and it's clear that the CW wants sucky shows like the PCD instead of Veronica Mars. According to Kristin at E! online, the reason they haven't officially said it's totally over yet is because they're afraid to fuel the fan anger. Like this limbo-thing when everyone knows there's no hope left, it fuels the fan anger too. Many people are planning a CW boycott, I would do so if I lived in the States and I recommend everyone to do so!

I've gotten kind of addicted to this game:
The entire meaning is to get to the bottom of the waterslide. I know, it sounds kinda lame, but it's addictive! And perfect if you're bored;)
made a new icon yesterday... I just loved her face expression! :D the colours didn't look too good together though. Or, there's something not right about that icon. :/ but of course, it could just be me... I am my own worst critic. ;)

Congratulations, America! My inner American is thrilled right now;) I am so excited that the Democrats won the mid-term elections! This is a very good sign for America. Hopefully things will slowly but surely change - not just in your own country but in the rest of the world too.
I think this is a good indication that the Democrats could win the next president election! I am crossing my finger for you guys! :D
I have made a new layout. Didn't get it to function absolutely perfect, but I think it looks quite nice;) remember I'm a newbie when it comes to this. And sometimes simple is best, right? Less is more;)

I've made my first ever layout! I know it's not very good, but hey, it's a start, right?
As you can probably see, I'm inspired by Veronica Mars these days. The moment I used for the layout is just the best moment ever, it was so romantic and cute. Even though Logan was drunk, I think he spoke from the heart. You sometimes have to be drunk to dare to do that, right? ;)
I am over my LOST-obsession period and into my Veronica Mars-obsession period! Yay! :D It's simply because Veronica Mars is such a great show. The characters are so deep, the plot is always so complicated, the actors are so hot... I mean, how can you NOT watch it? ;) Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs lll, Francis Capra and Michael Muhney makes it all worth it, right?
And I like their characters too. Except Don Lamb, because he's an arrogant ass. But he's getting better, maybe there's still hope, right? God, I'm looking forward to season 3...
Looking back, I think all the actors (and characters) have developed since season 1. They're all more mature and it's like they now are very familiar with their role. I have to say Kristen Bell pulls the show forward, she does an amazing job. She has grown a lot. So has the others, but with Kristen you really notice it. I think she fits perfectly as Veronica Mars!
And now, on to a more serious subject, my concerns about "the world". I am worried about all the homeless families, all the bombed down once beautiful towns, simply all the misery in this world. Caused by us.
I can't understand how someone can put other people through horrible things just to make money, or to gain power. The war in the Middle East is a good example of this. Israel is without any second thoughts slaughtering families, women and children and men who have lived there their entire life, without bothering anyone. They are bombing villages just to kill. They don't give a shit about how many innocent people who die. They are now doing the same thing in Libanon. What makes them think they have to right to do this? Probably the support from the US, the world's most powerful country. They are supporting this shit, sending Israel bombs they can use to kill even more children. When Bush stands there with his loving smile, saying that no kids are left behind, that the United States is a great example to the rest of the world, does he even send a thought to all the mothers crying over their dead childrens bodies? Does he even know about all the old people seeing their beloved country in ruins? Does he care about what he and people like him are doing to his world?
I do. I care about all of them. And I think you should do too. I would recommend everyone to take a look at this page: http://www.rafahtoday.org
It is made by a very talented young photographer from Rafah. I am mailing with him, he is a very nice person who cares deeply about his country and his people, and he wants to show the world what's going on. He wants people to know. He's fighting to make this world a better place. And for that he should be honored! Mohammed from Rafah is now one of my main ideals. I want to become a journalist myself when I get older, so he and his work means a lot to me. Because he changes the world. One person can't do everything, but as long as he or she does something, it's enough. Just by showing this to the world, even by just waking up one person, he changes the world.
Next time you see a poster of your beloved president, remember how much misery he has caused. How many people that are dead and homeless because of him - Iraq, Israel... Remember that.
